What a fun way to get ideas on different options to feed our little munchkins!
The Love Nugget (almost 14 months), has always been a pretty good eater. However, he isn’t a huge fan of vegetables so I hide them where I can. I also find that if I give him several options of veggies on his plate, he’s bound to eat some of them 🙂
Todays for lunch he had some whole wheat shells with ground turkey, peas, zucchini, asparagus, cream cheese, nutritional yeast and some of the Walnut Pesto I made the other day. He also had a kale and sweet potato veggie nugget, a broccoli and cheddar wonton, some roasted beets and steamed carrots topped with hummus.
He did pretty good…
After that he wanted some watermelon so he ate a few cubes. He’s loving the fresh watermelon right now. Can you blame him? So good!
